Hey everyone! You finally get a face to this blog! Yes that’s me up there in that little square. I don’t really have a reason for not posting a photo sooner other than pure laziness. I don’t really have a problem sharing my pictures its just that I take time to crop and edit so it doesn’t happen to often but I had a decent picture on my computer so I figured why not post it. Anyway this is just a short post to announce that I added a picture so you don’t come to this blog and say “wait a minute, this isn’t right…”. So I’ll see you guys in another post soon! Until next time!
To me going back to school means many things. Late nights, busy days, and lots and lots of coffee. But for this blog it means that I’ll be posting something here twice a week. Yay!!! I know I’ve been gone for a while but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been thinking about this blog, trust me I have. I’ve been looking for new ways to discover different types of art and cool things in general to post on here even though I haven’t done much posting. So I guess that’s kind of preview of what’s to come! Stay tuned to find out more 🙂
This blog has been severely neglected however I want to fix that! Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of good stuff that I really want to comment on but I really haven’t had the time this semester. I’m currently wrapping up school, finals week is next week but I’ve been really busy this week! Anyways this is just a little post letting you know what’s up and where I’ve been. Now back to business! See you soon!
With many objects or products originally made out of paper going digital, for example ebooks, is the business card safe? I recently came across an article asking this question and before I even started reading I decided that business are safe. I think because business cards are so widely used combined with the uncertainty of technology, which is at times unreliable, business cards are not going away any time soon. The writer of the article also shares a similar opinion on the usefullness and importance of a business card. Also included in the article were tips on designing a business card and how to make them more memorable. Personally if I come across a business card that has a really cool or unique design to it I am very likely to keep it. This backs the idea of creating a memorable business card, the more a person likes it the longer they are going to keep it and remember your business. I thought this article touched on some important points and it did make me think about the future of paper business cards a bit more.

I’m not sure why I’m even going to write about this much less why I was looking at iPad cases anyway. You see I don’t own an iPad or even an iTouch, my sister has an iTouch but it’s heavly guarded to say the least. Although I own neither I’m always looking at the cases for them, I can’t help it. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a sucker for cute or beautiful designs so I can’ t not look around. Most of these designs aren’t my cup of tea but a few, like 1 or 2, I do really like. Favorite of all the cases I saw in this article : http://shopping.yahoo.com/articles/yshoppingarticles/541/opulent-and-outrageous-ipad-cases/ , was the Chanel one. It’s not because of the brand or anything, I just like how it looks somewhat like purse and has that iconic look of a black Chanel handbag. I also liked the sparkly crystal ones, one of which happens to actually be affordable. Too bad I like the more expensive one, why me? Two designs really grossed me out, I’m not joking,
I seriously cringed. I mean come on, a case made out of ostrich skin? Really? To me it’s like carrying around a case made of chicken or turkey skin, yuck! I’m also not too keen on the crocodile skin, it’s just something about the actually skin of something being used that just creeps me out. Some designs were good and some were just yuck but I don’t think I’ll worry about that too much until I actually GET an iPad.
